Job Summary
This role is responsible for leading the accounts receivable team, providing full accounts partnering services to ensure a well-supported accounts function.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor the accounts receivable team, delegating tasks, monitoring performance, and backfilling accounts officers when needed.
* Handle escalated billing inquiries from residents and their families while maintaining strong relationships and effective communication with staff.
* Ensure adherence to aged care regulations, update, and improve accounts receivable processes, and develop comprehensive policy and procedure guides.
* Oversee the preparation and management of invoices for residents ensuring compliance with aged care standards.
* Support the accounts team with payment statement reconciliation and assist with community-related billing events and processes.
Fundamental Skills and Qualifications:
This role requires knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and previous experience with accounting software packages is highly desirable; training in these systems can be provided.
