Position Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Care Assistant (Disability Support Worker) to join our growing team in the Dubbo and wider Orana region. This role involves providing direct support to clients with varying disabilities in line with individualised care and behaviour support plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct personal care and support to clients with varying disabilities
* Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
* Facilitate community access and social participation
* Implement individualised client plans and behaviour support plans
* Maintain accurate and timely progress notes and reports
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and with clients'
Skills and Experience Required:
* Minimum 2 years' relevant post-qualification experience
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent/higher
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
* Strong understanding of the NDIS and person-centred care principles
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and sleepovers
* Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle
