Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal (DBCT P/L) is seeking an experienced Asset Data and Systems Advisor to support the integrity, performance and continuous improvement of our asset management systems.
About the Role
As the Asset Data and Systems Advisor, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability and optimisation of our work management master data and asset information systems.
Your work will involve collaborating with stakeholders across the business, maintaining centralised data repositories, ensuring data integrity and helping drive improvements across integrated business systems. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical capability, a passion for quality data and a solid understanding of asset/work management processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate master data and centralised asset/work management databases.
* Analyse system performance, identify issues and implement data‑driven improvements.
* Apply change management principles to ensure the integrity of system modifications.
* Coach and mentor team members on work management processes and data standards.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders, Original Equipment Manufacturers, Suppliers and IT to maintain and enhance system performance.
* Contribute to business planning, project implementation and KPI development through effective data analysis and reporting.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system effectiveness and operational outcomes.
About You
You’ll bring strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and a proactive approach to data integrity and system reliability.
Desirable Qualifications & Knowledge
* Mechanical or Electrical trade background (highly desirable)
* Certificate in Maintenance Management (preferred)
Skills & Attributes
* Intermediate MS Office and general computer literacy
* Strong organisational and planning skills
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
* Analytical and problem‑solving strength
* Ability to mentor others and share knowledge
Experience
* Experience in project management (desirable)
* Experience using Integrated Information Systems (e.g. JDE, SAP) for data collection, analysis and reporting
