About this opportunity:
As a Senior Development Engineer, you will:
* Lead the design, assessment, and construction of civil infrastructure projects.
* Provide expert advice and negotiate with developers and stakeholders.
* Mentor and guide engineering and technical staff.
* Contribute to the review and implementation of Council’s Planning Scheme and policies.
* Ensure timely processing of complex development applications in line with legislation and service standards.
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
* Strong problem-solving, time management, and negotiation skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
* Commitment to continuous learning, with support to achieve RPEQ registration.
