Position Overview
Arcare is a leading provider of aged care residences across Australia. We are seeking motivated Allied Health Assistants (AHA) for residences in Melbourne's West. Working as part of the Allied Health team, you will help maintain the functional independence of our clients and support a person-centred, evidence-based, continuous quality improvement work environment.

Responsibilities
Enhance residents' wellness through exercise and restorative programs
Deliver exercise and therapy programs in 1:1 and group settings according to care plans
Assist with assessments and re-assessments of residents' physical capabilities
Ensure residents have access to assistive devices as prescribed
Support administrative tasks like equipment ordering and liaising with families
Maintain facility cleanliness
Report progress and changes to the Physiotherapist and other team members
Support other physical activities delivered by the Lifestyle team
Qualifications and Skills
Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
Computer and phone literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook)
Current full driver’s license (VIC only: NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, or ability to obtain)
Up-to-date vaccinations or willingness to obtain
Provide First Aid Certificate and CPR
Physical ability to perform duties
Right to Work in Australia
