We are seeking experienced hospital Supply Officers to join our dynamic team. Full-time, Permanent Part-time and casual positions being considered.

About Pacific Private Hospital:

Located on the stunning Gold Coast, our boutique facility is on a mission to redefine patient care. Pacific Private has now completed our expansion, with an additional two operating theatres (seven in total) and eight inpatient hospital beds. We have commenced short stay orthopaedics.

Our newly expanded hospital offers a state-of-the-art facility which stands as a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence. Our hospital serves as a bridge between conventional hospitals and day surgery facilities, addressing a crucial gap in the healthcare landscape. Central to our ethos is a dedication to safety, unwavering patient care, and a commitment to enhancing recovery journeys.

We specialise in Orthopaedic, Ophthalmology, Plastic, MOH's, Oral & Maxillofacial, General surgeries and Gastroenterology/ Hepatology.

Responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:

* Undertaking efficient, cost effective and timely purchase and procurement of consumables and equipment
* Provide exceptional customer/patient service by replenishing hospital areas
* Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting positive team culture, communicating and offering help to team members and liaising with other staff as required to create an experience that makes a difference
* Maintain standards of customer service and ensure patient confidentiality and privacy are always maintained

About you

* Experience of purchasing within a large service focused organisation
* Experience with managing complex urgent purchasing and financial issues with a computerized inventory system
* Experience with DOX or similar materials management computer systems is desirable
* Proven ability to successfully manage multiple urgent tasks and achieve deadlines
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
* Previous experience in a similar role (Desirable)
* Medical product knowledge (Desirable)
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
* Solid analytic and problem solving skills

* Satisfactory reference checks
* Proof of Australian working rights (unless otherwise specified in the job advertisement) including the completion of a CheckWorkRights check – via Nexus link
* A current National Police check (issued within the previous 12 months)
* A valid Working with Children Check (if applicable to role) or ability to obtain
* Evidence of immunisation against infectious diseases, in accordance with applicable state legislation and Nexus policy. This includes proof of immunity where required. In some states, annual influenza vaccination or an appropriate medical exemption is mandatory
* Completion of a Nexus Health Declaration Form
