Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer
This role will see you working with a team that supports the sustainment and enhancement of cutting-edge deployable ICT systems for critical operations in Australia's national security environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reviewing and advising on the design and implementation of interfacing systems.
* Developing and maintaining software components.
* Integrating existing software components and applications.
* Building, administering, and supporting production nodes.
* Transferring knowledge to support personnel.
* Contributing to training material development.
* Performing level three support of production systems.
* Baseline and maintain system configuration control.
* Maintaining software lists.
* Developing SOPs and Business Level Instructions (BLIs).
* Developing and implementing a Patch Management Plan.
Mandatory Skills:
* Greater than 8 years of experience in software development.
* Customising and administering Linux-based servers and applications.
* Automating and scripting application installation and customisation.
* Developing and maintaining Linux standard operating environment (SOE) images.
* Developing technical documentation.
* Applying DEVOPS methodologies.
* Providing technical advice grounded in broader business requirements.
* Experience working with deployable communication and information systems (CIS).
* Understanding of systems engineering processes.
* Knowledge of the Defence Capability Lifecycle.
* Experience working within an agile project management framework.
* Familiarity with OpenStack.
* Experience developing and maintaining Windows SOE.
