Job Description
We are seeking experienced network engineers to join a critical OT network team. These roles are responsible for maintaining, expanding and securing the organisation's state-wide OT network and associated systems, ensuring they remain highly available, secure and compliant.
The positions will involve a mix of support and project delivery, working in a 24/7 operational environment with an on-call roster.
* Monitor and maintain OT network performance, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly
* Respond to incidents and outages, providing timely communication to stakeholders until resolution
* Implement upgrades, configuration changes, and preventive maintenance across OT systems
* Ensure service availability in accordance with the OT service management model and change processes
* Develop and maintain cybersecurity controls, including proactive monitoring and firewall rule management
* Contribute to compliance reporting against external standards such as ISO27001 and IEC62443
* Document the OT environment including performance requirements, configurations, and work instructions
* Support both BAU activities and project delivery within the OT network space
* Participate in the on-call roster to support critical incidents and after-hours needs
Key Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 5 years' experience in networking roles within complex environments. Strong expertise with Cisco Networking technologies, including MPLS, VXLAN, NVPLS and EVPN. Additional skills (preferred): AWS and Azure networking, F5 technologies, proven ability to manage BAU and project-related networking activities, strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills, ability to manage diverse network hardware and technologies within a mission-critical environment, experience engaging with both internal and external stakeholders, including public-facing services.
