**About the Role**
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled clinician to deliver psychological therapy and counselling services in the Wheatbelt community of Merredin.
This is a meaningful opportunity to make a genuine difference in people's lives. As a trauma-informed and evidence-based clinician, you will:
* Deliver individual counselling and therapy sessions via telephone and digital platforms in line with program deliverables; with some regional trips to Merredin as required.
* Apply a comprehensive therapeutic approach to support positive client outcomes.
* Conduct psychosocial and wellbeing assessments to identify needs, risks, and strengths.
* Develop, implement, and review collaborative care plans with clients.
* Support clients to identify goals, build coping strategies, and strengthen resilience.
This role requires working in partnership with general practices and community service providers to achieve shared outcomes.
The successful candidate will be part-time (3 days per week / 45.6 hours per fortnight) based in Albany, with some regional travel as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Nursing, or a related discipline.
* Current registration with AHPRA or AASW membership.
* Demonstrated experience in a mental health setting with clients of varied needs and complexity.
* Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and case management.
* A current National Police Clearance and WA Driver's Licence.
