Duties and Responsibilities:
This role involves a variety of one-on-one and group physiotherapy services provided to residents in aged care facilities. Some regular duties include:
12. Functional assessments on admission, quarterly/annually, and as required
13. Post falls reviews
14. Rehabilitation and short-term restorative care
15. Small-group Exercise classes
16. Wellness programs
17. Programs allow for resident-centred and individualised care
18. Manual handling training
19. Opportunities for work and training in other streams, such as Community Home care, NDIS and Telehealth
Skills and Qualifications:
20. Physiotherapy Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent as approved by AHPRA –Full Registration
21. Drivers’ license and reliable vehicle
22. Professional indemnity insurance, or willingness to obtain
23. Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain
24. 2023 Flu Vaccine Certificate, or willingness to obtain
25. COVID vaccine certificate, or willingness to obtain
