What is the Career Comeback Program?
The Career Comeback Program is a dedicated initiative designed to support professionals returning to the workforce after a career break of two years or more. Whether your time away was for family, study, travel, health, or other personal reasons, this program offers a structured and supportive pathway to reignite your career, refresh your skills, and rebuild confidence.
We run multiple intakes each year, with applications open in March, June, and October. Roles are available across a wide range of business areas, including (but not limited to):
* Banking, Finance, and Accounting
* Project Management and Operations
* Risk and Compliance
* Customer Service
Most opportunities are based in Sydney, with additional roles available interstate form time to time depending on business needs. Candidates join the Bank in permanent roles and receive 12 weeks of dedicated support, including comprehensive onboarding, career coaching, mentoring, and flexible working arrangements to set you up for long-term success.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, you should:
* Have taken a voluntary career break of two years or more
* Be motivated to return to work on a full-time or flexible basis (flexible options such as part-time or reduced hours may be available depending on the role)
* Have prior professional experience relevant to the role you are applying for
* Hold permanent Australian working rights
