We are currently seeking an energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic Pipeline E&I Technician for a full-time permanent role based in Dalby. Preference for candidates residing in Dalby; no fly-in fly-out or drive-in drive-out arrangements.
Reporting to the Dalby Supervisor, the role's purpose is to safely and efficiently execute field services for Verbrec’s pipelines and external clients. These services include:
Meter validations
Non-fiscal equipment calibrations
Cathodic Protection Surveys
DCVG Surveys
PLC Fault finding
Pre-commissioning and commissioning of pipelines and facilities
General electrical work
Responsibilities include:
Adhering to the highest safety, environmental, community, and stakeholder requirements
Meeting quality, operability, schedule, and cost targets
Complying with statutory and regulatory guidelines
To succeed, candidates should possess:
Certificate III in process plant operations or CP 1 - Cathodic Protection Tester (Desirable)
Trade certificate - Cert III in Electro Technology (Mandatory)
Experience in the gas industry, specifically in electrical, instrumentation, PLC, meter validations, and EEHA (Highly regarded)
Experience in pipeline inspection and maintenance (Highly regarded)
A safety-first approach
Experience working in remote areas
Ability to work unsupervised
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop diverse skills
Good communication skills, both written and oral
Computer literacy
Experience communicating with landowners and occupiers
