Purpose of Position
Scaffolders are important members of the GHS Solutions team, erecting scaffolds to meet customer requirements, in accordance with Australian Standards. All members of the team share a responsibility in keeping themselves and all employees safe from harm.
Geographical Coverage
Servicing the Midwest region, Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Erection and dismantle of scaffolding in a timely manner as instructed and to Australian Standards.
Assist to prepare and plan for scaffolding activities.
Carry out Scaffold Inspection Checklists for each job.
Maintain accurate documentation associated with each job.
Act with integrity, honesty and ethically at all times.
Proactively engage to create a safer workplace.
Role Specific Competencies
Good communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Competent in the erection and dismantle of scaffolding.
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and ongoing drug and alcohol tests.
License Requirements
Construction Industry White Card (essential)
MSIC Licence (essential, or ability to obtain)
WorkSafe WA High Risk Licence – Advanced, Intermediate or Basic Scaffolding (essential)
Current Working at Heights (essential)
Current National Police Clearance (essential)WorkSafe WA High Risk Licence – Forklift (preferred)
Drivers Licence – Truck Licence (preferred)
Current Confined Space (preferred)
