We are seeking a skilled Youth Mental Health Professional to join our team in Tasmania. As a key member of the Clinical Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to young people aged 12-25.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team specialising in youth mental health. You will be responsible for providing therapeutic and case management services, delivering evidence-based interventions, and engaging with young people and their families.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a full range of mental health services, including mental state examinations and psychological assessments.
* Deliver individual, family, and group interventions for young people presenting with a broad range of issues.
* Engage with relevant stakeholders to advocate and support access for young people.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing.
* Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist (full or provisional), Occupational Therapist, or Mental Health Nurse.
* Demonstrated competence in managing risk and providing interventions for young people.
* Highly developed skills in engagement and communication.
