**The Opportunity**
Our Planning and Places team sits within the Strategy Community and Place division working alongside colleagues in the Cities and Healthy Communities and Regions teams to deliver places and projects that deliver positive economic, social and environmental outcomes for the NSW community and other communities across Australia.
We're currently growing our Planning capability and looking to hire a couple of **Intern Planners** in our **Sydney** team.
**Day to day you will**:
- Assist on large and small planning projects in land use planning, due diligence assessments, strategic and statutory planning, master planning and development assessment process
- Develop your understanding of the built setting and the economic, social, and political factors that can influence the planning process
- Foster great relationships
- Work with master planners, urban designers, infrastructure engineers, government officials, and the public, to create optimal solutions to develop our cities and regional areas

- Knowledge of NSW planning legislation, policy and reform directions

- A passion for planning issues and desire to help shape outcomes in urban and regional areas
