Full-Time, Ongoing Position
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual who has experience in grounds/garden and building maintenance to join our BRHS Facilities team in a permanent position. The Position:
In this role you will work as part of a small and multidisciplinary team of trade and non-trade staff to carry our general grounds and garden maintenance including the preparation, cultivation and maintenance of all hospital gardens. You will play a key role in making sure BRHS grounds are safe and well presented. The position will also include some handyperson work such as basic woodwork, painting and vehicle checks as required. The BRHS Facilities Department is responsible for providing essential services, planned and breakdown maintenance support to all Bairnsdale Regional Health Service owned and operated facilities as well as managing the BRHS vehicle fleet.

What you need:
5. Trade qualification in Horticulture or similar
6. Experience performing grounds and gardens maintenance;
7. A good level of skills and knowledge of horticulture, landscaping and maintenance work;
8. Ability to work and participate effectively within a multi-disciplined team environment;
9. Commitment and flexible approach to learning and performing new procedures, functions and tasks
