Location: Darwin
Permanent: Full Time Position
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am - 3:30pm
Pay range: $50-$60 pay bracket - based on experience. 1 year post apprentice should still apply
Site Work: Occasional site work within NT location - 1-2 nights per month with 1.2 uplift

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters with exposure to pumps to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of pumps and associated equipment/ components.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Diagnose and repair industrial pumps and other equipment as required
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections to identify potetial issues and prevent breakdowns
* Disassemble and reassemble heavy equipment components including large water pumps
* Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, pumps and ancillary equipment
* Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess and repair equipment efficiently
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
* Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines
* Collaborate with team members to complete complex repairs
REQUIREMENTS:
* Australian recognised trade completion certificate (Mechanical)
* Previous pump experience is highly advantageous
* Good communication skills
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Good diagnostic skills with teh ability to learn and develop
* Self-motivated, with the ability to work as part of a team
* A strong commitment to safety and quality
* High level of attention to detail
* Positive and proactive attitude

* Current drivers’ licence (minimum)
