Minimum requirements a successful candidate will possess are:
* Travel to Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast
* Willing to work on rotating roster
* Certificate II in Security Operations
* Valid Security License & First Aid Certificate
* Able to remain calm under pressure and communicate effectively
* Ability to work with Nexar Group 15+ hours per week ongoing. We are not looking for casual employees.
* Ability to work across 4 to 7 days per week shift lengths of min 4hrs - max 12hrs
* Minimum of 6 months security industry experience required
Multiple Roles and Positions available.
Locations - Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast
Roles - Crowd Control & Event Security
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
* Ability to support Nexar Group with 15+ hours per week across 4 to 7 day roster.
* Great customer and stakeholder communication
* Liaising with police and emergency response services when necessary
* Be able to verbally de-escalate any situation
* Risk identification and issue resolution
* Adaptable to any situations that arise
* Be able to deter theft and report missing assets
* Work autonomously and in a group
* Ability for report writing
Event Role:
* Great customer service
* Good Time Management
* Great communication with management/staff and general public
* Has an active crowd control security licence
* Physically fit and able to work under pressure
You will have:
* Active Security Licence with crowd control
* Good customer and client service skills
* Good written and verbal communication
* Reporting ability to supervisor
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a collaborative way.
* Demonstrated ability to apply ethical standards to decisions made on a day to day basis.
* Physical capacity to perform the duties of the position including Static & Roving roles
* Current First Aid certificate
* First Aid certificate must be current and renewed within the past 2 years
* Intermediate computer skills.
* Excellent communication skills a must.
Minimum requirements a successful candidate will possess are:
* Certificate II in Security Operations
* Valid Security License & First Aid Certificate
* Full, unlimited right-to-work in Australia
* Valid Australian work visa or equivalent work authorisation required
* Ability to work days and/or nights
