Brand Manager Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Brand Manager to join our team. As a Brand Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic brand plans to drive awareness, consideration, and market share.
* In conjunction with the Marketing Manager, you will develop and implement the marketing plan for Taubmans within the retail channel to achieve Net Sales results, share targets, and profitability of the category.
* You will develop and implement promotion and advertising activities for Taubmans targeted toward the retail/DIY audience.
* Regularly review sales and performance categories, recommending changes in pricing and product mix.
* Collaborate with local and global R&D teams to identify new product opportunities aligning with the Business Strategy.
* Ensure brand governance and consistency across all marketing touchpoints.
* Consult with sales, operations, and finance to ensure effective launches and profitable marketing.
Requirements
* A tertiary qualification in Marketing/Commerce/Business is essential.
* Minimum 3 years of marketing or brand management experience within a high volume FMCG company, or related hardware category business, with a proven record of achievement.
* Experience working closely with creative, design, digital & media agencies to develop outstanding advertising creative and media programs.
* Solid commercial understanding and experience, including insight into competitor and retailer strategies and activity.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct presentations and influence stakeholders.
