* Rate: $60 p/h + Superannuation
About the Role:
This position plays a critical role in shaping strategic and operational outcomes by generating projection models, analysing performance trends, and supporting informed decision-making across government operations. Working under limited direction, the role involves extracting, interpreting, and presenting data in accessible formats for a range of internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, and refine Excel-based forecasting and projection modelling tools
* Generate data-driven reports and performance visualisations to support strategic planning
* Extract and analyse data from tools including Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, and SAS
* Present insights and findings to a range of stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accessibility
* Support performance tracking and risk identification across operational functions
* Mentor junior analysts and contribute to capability development within the team
* Undertake quality assurance of reports and trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives
* Manage stakeholder relationships to improve understanding of data products and performance insights
* Contribute to business process optimisation through qualitative and quantitative review
* Other duties as required
Mandatory Requirements:
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including Power Query, pivot tables, advanced formulae, and charting)
* Demonstrated experience in forecasting, statistical modelling, and business performance analysis
* Strong experience with Salesforce analytics tools
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver in a dynamic environment
