**About the Opportunity**:
Looking for a creative and enthusiastic
- Working with a Senior Designer to develop seasonal ranges in line with customer requirements
- Creating prints and yardages using assets from brand style guides
- Select suitable garments and fabrications to ensure quality and cost is in line with the brief
- Ensure ongoing trend and seasonal forecasting to achieve sales budget
- Prepare costing art-sheets to include technical drawings, trim details and construction specifications within agreed time frames
- Prepare tech packs for overseas factories
- Monitor product submissions including fits samples, quality swatches, lab dips, prints, trims, accessories, and fabric qualities within required production time allocated for the approval process and ensure this is communicated to all relevant stakeholders on regular basis
- Collaborate with team members within and across the business to achieve goals and ensure team success.
Our Designers have a strong understanding of current market trends, impressive organisational skills, and the ability to work within our fast-paced working environment. They have at least 3 years of industry experience with a strong knowledge of childrenswear and sleepwear! Other key requirements for this position include
- Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Fashion Design or similar.
- Minimum of 3 years industry experience.
- Experience with childrenswear and sleepwear is essential.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Proficient in InDesign
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Textile design and garment construction knowledge required
- Good time management, including the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Knowledge of licensing and dealing with style guides advantageous, but not essential.
