We are seeking a Senior Product Developer to take ownership of the product lifecycle from concept through to bulk production.
This is a hands‐on, high‐responsibility role suited to someone confident leading development end‐to‐end from refining existing styles through to developing new collections from scratch.
You will work closely with the Founder/Creative Director and incoming COO to bring collections to life with clarity, precision, and a strong commercial mindset.
Role Structure
Contract / flexible engagement with ongoing work across collections.
This role is expected to be approximately 2–4 days per week equivalent, increasing during key development stages (sampling, fittings, pre-production) and reducing between drops.
There is strong potential for this role to grow as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities End‐to‐End Product Development
* Lead the development process from concept through to bulk production
* Translate creative direction into clear, production‐ready outcomes
* Refine existing styles and collections to improve fit, quality, and consistency
New Collection Development
* Work closely with the Creative Director to develop new product categories and capsule collections
* Contribute to silhouette, fabrication, and construction decisions
* Support the development of a core "foundation" range to complement seasonal collections
Tech Packs & Specifications
* Create and refine detailed, production‐ready tech packs
* Ensure accuracy across measurements, grading, and construction
* Manage updates and version control across all styles Factory & Supplier Management
o Communicate directly with local and offshore factories
o Manage sampling timelines, approvals, and production readiness
o Provide clarity on MOQ, lead times, and costing
o Proactively resolve development and production challenges
Fit & Sampling
o Oversee all sampling stages (proto, fit, PPS)
o Lead fittings and provide clear, actionable feedback
o Ensure consistency of fit and garment quality
Timeline & Delivery
o Build and manage development timelines across multiple styles and drops
o Ensure all milestones are met in line with launch schedules
Quality Control
o Maintain high standards across fabrication, print execution, and finishing
o Approve final samples prior to bulk production
About You
o 5+ years experience in product development (fashion/apparel)
o Strong experience working with both local and offshore manufacturers
o Confident developing product from concept as well as refining existing styles
o Highly detail‐oriented with strong technical knowledge
o Able to manage multiple styles and timelines independently
o Solutions‐focused, proactive, and calm under pressure
o Experience in premium or luxury fashion is highly desirable
o Design background is highly regarded
