The Opportunity
The Morgans Mackay Branch is currently seeking a full-time Trainee Adviser / Adviser Assistant. This position is well suited to someone who wants to become a Financial Adviser and has either completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, commerce, accountancy, or finance; or has extensive experience in the financial services industry. A part time role will be considered for the right candidate who is currently in the process of completing a degree.

What you will be doing
The successful candidate will undertake a structured long term career plan while initially assisting in the day-to-day operations of our business which include;
* Telephone answering and general reception/office duties
* Providing direct assistance to clients with general administration needs
* Preparation of client and other various correspondence
* Arranging, and preparing for, client review meetings and implementing advice
* Maintenance of client records; and
* Providing information on companies, stock prices etc. to clients
What you will bring
* A relevant bachelor's degree in business, commerce, finance, accountancy or extensive industry experience and a desire to complete further academic study to meet the FASEA requirements.
* An understanding and interest of financial markets and their operation
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Client focused
* Self-motivated and deadline driven
* Must have the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
* Positive attitude and great sense of humour
