To complement our Heavy Mobile Equipment workshop contracts, Wisely is expanding our capability with the launch of our new Field Service Division. This growth allows us to provide responsive, high‐quality on‐site maintenance, technical support, and specialised field services across our client operations. As demand continues to increase, we are seeking skilled Heavy Diesel Fitters who thrive in dynamic field environments and are committed to delivering safe, efficient, and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities
In these roles Wisely is seeking candidates who possess the following attributes
* Carry out on‐site diagnostics, fault finding, and breakdown repairs on heavy equipment
* Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
* Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards
* Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
* Maintain accurate service reports and job records
* Ensure all work is completed in line with OEM, site safety and compliance requirements
* Communicate effectively with supervisors and site personnel regarding machine status
* Provide support across other company sites when opportunities or project demands arise
Key Requirements
* Australian Trade qualified Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic
* Proven experience in field service or site‐based heavy equipment maintenance
* Strong diagnostic and fault‐finding skills
* Experience working on civil, mining, or heavy earthmoving equipment (e.g., CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr)
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Commitment to safe work practices and site compliance standards
* Current driver's licence (HR desirable)
* Standard 11 - Surface Coal
* Ability to pass pre‐employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
* Strong communication skills and a team focused attitude
* Willingness to remain site‐based with flexibility to transfer to other sites if desired
