As a Mentor specializing in Inclusive Employment Australia, your primary mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve meaningful and sustainable employment. You will play a pivotal role in fostering inclusivity within the workforce by providing tailored guidance, job placement services, and ongoing support to customers. Your dedication to understanding their unique needs and collaborating with employers will bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, promoting diversity and equality in the workplace. By facilitating successful job placements and promoting workforce diversity, you will contribute significantly to enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities and promoting a more inclusive society.
This role will be based out of our Casuarina office with travel when required to the Palmerston office.
Key responsibilities and main tasks include:
* Collaborate with jobseekers to uncover their strengths, skills and employment goals.
* Partner with local employers and community groups to unlock inclusive work opportunities
* Provide tailored pre-employment guidance and ongoing post-placement support
* Achieve real, measurable outcomes for your community.
* Providing guidance and support to individuals seeking employment within diverse communities.
* Developing and delivering tailored mentoring programs to assist individuals in overcoming barriers to employment.
* Building strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and aspirations and providing appropriate support and advice.
* Collaborating with other team members to ensure cohesive delivery of services and maximise client outcomes.
* Delivering group workshops and one-to-one mentoring sessions to equip individuals with essential employability skills.
* Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and progress, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies.
* Staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and legislative changes to inform service delivery.
