Desktop and Network Support Specialist
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop and Network Support Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance to clients across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide onsite and remote technical support to clients, troubleshooting and resolving complex desktop and network issues promptly.
* Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on desktops, servers, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their IT requirements and deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs.
* Manage and support the implementation of new technologies within client infrastructures, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
* Document system performance and provide recommendations for improvements to enhance overall service delivery.
* Coordinate with teams to ensure comprehensive IT service delivery and maintain excellent client relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proficiency in mobile device management and strong knowledge of Active Directory.
* Understanding of Windows OS and advanced troubleshooting skills.
* Experience with Office 365 deployment and management, as well as network configuration and connectivity troubleshooting.
* Advanced troubleshooting skills for desktop and network issues, with expertise in Imaging: creating and deploying system images.
* SCCM for device and application management experience is also desirable.
