About the role:
Our Commercial team is seeking an Account Manager to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and drive success in Mackay. This role focuses on existing customers within Builders and Trades, while developing new relationships in the region. You will develop strategies to target growth, establish new relationships, and repair old ones. Industry knowledge, confidence in cold calling, client visits, and the ability to read building plans (beneficial but not essential) are important.

You will execute strategic sales plans, leveraging your product knowledge and working collaboratively to ensure customers receive the best Price, Range, and Service.
Who we're looking for:
You will join a high-performing, friendly team, reporting to the Regional Business Manager for Northern QLD. You should be an experienced sales professional capable of supporting and converting new business opportunities, providing value-added solutions.
You'll need:
* To leverage existing client database and generate new opportunities
* Develop and manage a budget aligned with company expectations
* Engage with companies in Mackay
* Build insights and plans around new business opportunities
* Develop strategies to address local opportunities and competitors
* Demonstrate integrity, respect, and teamwork
