What you'll do
* Lead and oversee multiple complex external audit engagements ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
* Coach, mentor, and develop managers and senior associates building strong, resilient and high‑performing teams.
* Manage key client relationships acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities to add value beyond the audit.
* Provide technical leadership on complex accounting and auditing matters influencing both clients and internal stakeholders.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation in audit methodology, tools and client service delivery.
* Collaborate with leaders across PwC to support business growth, risk management and operational excellence.
What we're looking for
* Significant external audit experience (typically 8 years) with extensive exposure to Energy Utilities & Resources or related sectors.
* Completion of a recognised CA or CPA qualification.
* Demonstrated leadership and people‑management skills with experience managing multiple teams and engagements.
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to build trusted relationships with senior client executives.
* Deep technical expertise in auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks and regulatory requirements.
* A proactive strategic thinker with excellent communication and influencing skills.
