Following Australia's decision to acquire UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters from the US Government, Lockheed Martin Australia has established a core team of experienced military Rotary Wing professionals to support procurement and sustainment activities. The UH-60M Black Hawk is a leading multi-role battlefield and special operations helicopter known for its capability and reliability. Your responsibilities will include:
* Completing platform-specific safety familiarisation or equivalent training
* Conducting competence assessments on authorized tasks
* Participating in system or component-specific courses for maintenance
* Applying PBED (Plan, Brief, Execute, Debrief) principles
* Understanding WH&S requirements
* Considering Human Factors in Maintenance
* Providing coaching and mentoring to support OJT progression and technical supervision
* Holding tertiary qualifications (Certificate IV or above) in Aeroskills – Mechanical from a recognized institution
* Having excellent knowledge of DASRs requirements
* Working rotating shifts
* Obtaining and maintaining Australian Defence Security Clearance
* Possessing a Military Aircraft Maintenance License (MAML) for applicable types
About you:
We seek a highly motivated, customer-focused aircraft maintenance engineer responsible for maintenance and certification within scope of authorization. You will ensure aircraft are airworthy according to aviation standards, endorse maintenance tasks, and support maintenance managers with task sign-off and certification.
Special Requirements:
* Must be eligible for and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
* Employment contingent on providing personal information to comply with export control legislation
This role is based at Holsworthy, NSW.
