Role Overview
We are seeking a Full Time Team Leader to manage scheduled grounds maintenance across multiple aged care sites in the South-East region. This mobile run role requires travelling between sites daily, leading a small team of trade assistants, and ensuring all landscaping and horticultural work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
* Manage and maintain multiple aged care sites across a scheduled mobile run, ensuring all grounds are presented to a high standard.
* Operate modern grounds maintenance equipment including zero-turn mowers, brush cutters, and blowers.
* Lead a small team of trade assistants to complete daily landscape maintenance tasks across multiple locations.
* Engage with site managers and represent Solutions+ professionally on each site.
* Handle administrative duties including pre-starts, reports, Take 5s, and SWMS.
* Perform mowing, pruning, planting, mulching, and general horticultural maintenance.
* Operate ride-on mowers and specialised landscaping machinery.
* Use hand tools and powered equipment required for commercial grounds maintenance.
* Complete detailed horticultural work across turf, garden beds, and landscaped areas.
* Maintain and adjust irrigation systems including basic fault finding and repairs.
* Identify site issues and suggest improvements during mobile runs.
* Maintain safe work practices and ensure WHS compliance at all times.
* Assist with seasonal planting programs and landscape upgrades.
* Check soil condition and apply fertilisers or treatments when required.
What will you need
* Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens (Preferred)
* Driver's licence (Manual or Automatic - required for mobile run role)
* National Police Check (valid or willingness to obtain)
* Working with Children Check (valid or willingness to obtain)
