As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
1. Deliver evidence-based nursing care
2. Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
3. Ensure patient and staff safety
4. Supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members to deliver patient care
5. Deliver education to new staff and students
6. Provide education and support to patients for managing their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs
National Capital Private Hospital's Angiography Unit is a busy department servicing the ACT and surrounding regions. This dynamic, team-oriented unit assists in various cardiac procedures, including coronary angiograms, angioplasties, electrophysiological studies, radiofrequency ablations, pacemaker implantations, and other cardiac device insertions. Each day with the Angiography team offers unique learning opportunities, skill enhancement, and career development.
Minimum requirements include:
1. Current Registration with AHPRA
2. Postgraduate Certificate in Cardiology Nursing (or working towards)
3. Commitment to Quality Patient Care
4. Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards
5. Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
6. Ability to work independently and within a team
7. Excellent communication and customer service skills
8. Basic computer skills

Compensation: Successful applicants will receive a salary based on their registered nursing experience, in accordance with the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - ACT Nurses and Midwives' Enterprise Agreement 2022, ranging from $39.88 to $53.89 per hour.
