About the Role
As the Early Years Advisor, you will provide leadership, advice and guidance to operational teams (services) in the Mallee in the delivery of high quality and inclusive early childhood education to children and families. You will ensure high performance in all services by:
* Leading Educational Leaders and Nominated Supervisors to deliver high-quality early education within agreed performance indicators and service standards.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support quality education and care.
* Ensure education programs align with Shine Bright EYM's pedagogy, planning, and the National Quality Standard.
* Being accountable for efficient and effective service operations.
* Support and monitor services to maintain compliance with Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
* Growing future and current leaders.
This role requires flexibility to undertake regular travel across the region, including occasional overnight stays, to support service operations and stakeholder engagement.
About You
As a qualified early years professional with a passion for working in a collaborative environment you will be able to demonstrate your professionalism, flexibility, leadership and foregrounding of First Nations Perspectives into your pedagogy and practice. You will have
* Tertiary qualification in early childhood education as approved by ACECQA -Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority.
* Extensive working experience in the early year's sector.
* Solid experience and skill in staff leadership including the ability to develop a cohesive team, manage and develop staff. Previous experience in the role of
Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader.
* Extensive knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, National Quality Framework and approved Early Years Learning Development
Curriculum Frameworks.
* Solid professional experience in stakeholder management and engagement, community development and children services.
* Hold a Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration, and Victorian Driver's License
