The role 
Gippsland Water currently has an opportunity for a Maintenance Optimisation Engineer to join our Maintenance Optimisation workgroup in Traralgon.
In this role you will utilise your engineering experience to provide technical support, project management and contract administration associated with the maintenance and optimisation of Gippsland Water’s operational assets. You will also develop and manage minor capital works programs within regulatory and industry guidelines and standards to meet customer expectations.
What you’ll bring
- A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or experience in a similar role.
- Experience using risk management principles and critical problem solving techniques.
- Experience in performance and optimisation project management.
- Experience in the preparation of maintenance, capital plans and budgets to manage expenditure.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
