Assisting in the preparation, delivery, presentation and serving of resident meals.Your responsibilities will be to provide care and support aligned with residents' preferred daily routines with a strong focus on:Meal choices and individual nutritionConsideration of allergies and food intolerancesEnhancing the overall dining experienceAssist residents with meal selection and meal timing preferencesPrepare and set up dining areas to meet individual needs and preferencesActively engage with residents to provide social and emotional support during mealtimesUse empathy and kindness to foster a positive dining experiencePromote resident choice and control to uphold dignity and respectPrepare and maintain dining experience areas and provide meal service to meet individual resident choicesMaintain accurate nutrition and diet information as requiredAssist with quality food preparation in accordance with the Food Safety Plan, Bolton Clarke Food Standards and Dining FrameworkAssist with maintaining kitchen stock supplies as requiredTo be successful, you will have:Demonstrated customer service skillsA compassionate and caring attitudePrevious restaurant and/or commercial kitchen experience (highly regarded)Willingness to take direction from othersReliability and shift flexibilityGood time management skills and the ability to work well under pressureValid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)Complete a police check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencementAbout this location:Claremont Terrace is serviced well locally by a wide selection of cafes, restaurants and other amenities.
