Overview
Casual position, fixed term until 31 December 2025, based across various TAFE Gippsland campuses. Salary: $86.15 per teaching hour and $58.56 per non-teaching hour. Job Reference No. 2575.
TAFE Gippsland is seeking Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people who are passionate about sharing knowledge and experiences with students.
In this role, you'll help students learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of living, history, and community stories in a respectful and honest way.
Responsibilities
* Help create learning materials that reflect First Nations knowledge and perspectives
* Support students in building cultural understanding they can carry into their careers and communities
* Work with local Koorie communities to ensure the learning is guided by real voices and lived experiences

Qualifications and experience
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) is not mandatory but would be an advantage
* Previous experience in the education sector would be an advantage
Mandatory requirements
* Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
* Current Police Check (no older than 12 months)
* Current Driver's Licence
* Proof of Aboriginality and letter of endorsement from an Aboriginal Organisation
