About this opportunity
A key leadership role in the delivery of a functional recovery program for young people and their families is available. The team leader will lead and work closely with a multidisciplinary team incorporating peer support workers, allied health professionals, and medical staff to provide holistic treatment provision with young people and families presenting with emotional, social, or developmental difficulties.
As the team leader you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of the program. You will lead and supervise staff, oversee and implement family programs, and support clinical work with young people seeking treatment within an early psychosis service and their families.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in clinical mental health including engagement, assessment, and holistic treatment provision. Experience in strength-based supervision and leadership within a clinical mental health service is highly desirable. A passion for youth mental health, particularly working alongside young Aboriginal people, their families, and Aboriginal controlled organisations is also essential.
