HunterNet Career Connections are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Boilermaker Apprentice, with our host in Gateshead. Current 2nd or 3rd year apprentices are encouraged to apply!
The successful applicant will complete a Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication and kickstart a lifelong career with a worldwide leader in Fabrication and expert in their field.
As an Apprentice your main duties will include:
* General fabrication which may include- welding, grinding, cutting, rolling, shaping and polishing
* Cleaning, and general preparation or surfaces
* General repairs and maintenance of products
* Competently use trade related equipment
* Safely use hand and power tools
* General housekeeping duties
Essential Criteria:
* Willingness to learn and follow instructions
* Reliable employee with great communication skills
* Great time management skills
* High mechanical and mathematical aptitude
* Proactive and safety conscious person who can maintain a clean and safe environment
* Willingness and ability to complete safety documents on a daily basis
* Behave in a courteous and professional way at all times
* Problem solving skills
