Pharmacy Technician / DAA Coordinator

To continue driving excellence, we have a full time opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician / DAA Coordinator to join our friendly team at Northpharm Alice Springs Airport.
The Role
As part of a friendly team, the Pharmacy Technician / DAA Coordinator will play a key role in supporting dispensary services and coordinating clinic imprest order management. You will collaborate closely with pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, clinic staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate medication supply to patients and remote clinics.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
· Assist with daily dispensary operations and pharmaceutical service delivery.
· Work collaboratively with pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and health professionals to meet operational deadlines and ensure accurate documentation.
· Coordinate with clinics to manage imprest orders and stock for remote locations.
· Maintain strong working relationships with clinic managers and staff.
· Manage the ordering of pharmaceuticals from suppliers, maintain imprest lists, and oversee delivery and stock control processes across the pharmacy.
· Provide general support across pharmacy operations as required.
About You
· This role would suit someone who may have experience in a retail or service environment or looking to grow a meaningful career in a trusted community service
· OR someone with experience dispensing medications in a community pharmacy
· Positive, enthusiastic and friendly attitude to the role
· Motivation to learn with a customer service mindset
· Attention to detail and sound error checking ability
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well across diverse cohorts
· Certificate III in Community Pharmacy highly regarded
· Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience is preferred.
· Available to work Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
· Proficient in Microsoft suite, email, excel and general computer skills
