About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance Manager will be the key commercial and financial advisor across the Wangaratta manufacturing site.
You'll play a critical role in driving performance and profitability—balancing hands-on financial management with strategic insight and operational influence.
Key Responsibilities
Partnering with the GM and leadership team to provide commercial analysis, pricing insights, and financial modelling to guide decision-making.
Owning the site's costing framework—ensuring product costing, material, and labour variances are accurate, transparent, and continuously improved.
Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes, including variance commentary and KPI reporting.
Providing financial analysis for capital investments, fleet and equipment decisions, and scenario modelling to support growth.
Ensuring compliance with corporate financial controls, risk management, and audit requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in commercial finance or costing within manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial sectors.
Strong technical grounding combined with sharp commercial instincts and an ability to turn data into action.
Confidence partnering across all levels of a business—comfortable being both "on the floor" and in strategic discussions.
A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo.
Strong communication skills, integrity, and a collaborative, down-to-earth style.
