PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and coordinating with the Executive Branch Manager and stream leads for the implementation of the procurement reform through the Procurement Reform Program (Program). You will require an understanding of the Procurement Lifecycle including procurement legislation and service delivery.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets including a delivery pathway with agreement from program streams.
* Develop and maintain productive and influential working relationships with a range of key stakeholders including internal clients and senior executives.
* Engage the staff, ensuring that team members are fully informed and engaged as part of a collaborative one-team approach and work effectively and collaboratively to achieve the program objectives and vision.
* Leverage knowledge of procurement services and Frameworks to build on existing plans and strategies ensuring delivery pathways for streams are implemented and aligned to the Procurement Reform Program.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in delivering complex projects/Programs.
* Experience in government procurement services including procurement regulation, governance and processes preferred but not essential.
* Certification in Project Management and/or equivalent to a Cert IV or Diploma in program and project management preferred.
* Excellent skills in planning, leading and coordinating activities to manage and implement a program from initiation to final transition into operational, business-as-usual management.
* Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication (oral and written) including effective representation skills and strong attention to detail.
* Excellent strategic, conceptual, and analytical skills, and the ability to make sound judgements on sensitive and complex areas.
