The Opportunity
As the TRUMPS Program Manager, you'll lead the end‐to‐end delivery of system enhancements and new initiatives that make a real difference to how people work. You'll manage the full project lifecycle — from planning and prioritising enhancement requests through to delivery — working closely with stakeholders and project teams to keep things moving, on track and aligned with organisational priorities.
Along the way, you'll balance competing demands, coordinate resources and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. In this role, you'll also lead and support project teams, proactively manage risks and issues, and drive continuous improvement. Your work will directly enhance system capability and user experience, delivering practical, high‐quality outcomes that add real value to the business.
About You
You are a solution‐focused Project Manager, experienced in delivering system enhancements and uplifting capability. You bring technical expertise along with strong leadership, communication and a risk‐management focus.
You Will Have Experience In The Following Areas
* Proficient in project management tools such as JIRA and a working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban and waterfall delivery methodologies.
* Experience using dashboards and reporting tools to track scope, schedule, budget and risk.
* Ability to interpret technical requirements, system dependencies and architecture diagrams.
Educational Qualifications
* A tertiary qualification in Project Management, Information Technology, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
Special Conditions
* A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
* A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every five years.
* Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.
