About the Role
Procurement Sustainability Manager to lead impactful initiatives that enhance compliance and drive social outcomes, ensuring procurement serves as a powerful tool for positive change within the NSW Government Agency.
Duties
* Lead the development, mapping and control testing of procurement related policies.
* Partner with the NSW Anti‑Slavery Commissioner and internal stakeholders to implement the NSW Government's 'reasonable steps' framework, guaranteeing adherence to legislative and ethical procurement standards.
* Define and track icare's social procurement strategy, focusing on automating controls and achieving set targets to enhance social impact.
* Deliver comprehensive reports on compliance outcomes and social procurement activities to key stakeholders, ensuring annual procurement targets are met.
* Promote awareness of social procurement practices and opportunities through active business partnering and communications.
Skills & Experience
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or certification.
* Knowledge of NSW Procurement frameworks, social procurement obligations and policies.
* Experience in control design and testing as well as automation.
* Strong stakeholder skills and ability to partner with diverse suppliers, businesses and advocacy groups.
