Chef - Urgent start
Location: Ibis Style Eaglehawk
Industry: Hospitality & Tourism – Chefs/Cooks
We are currently looking for an experienced Chef to join our busy kitchen team in New South Wales. The successful candidate must have strong experience in Food & Beverage operations, food safety knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to menu requirements
* Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality
* Ensure kitchen operations run efficiently during service
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
* Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
* Follow all NSW food safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements
* Proven experience working as a Chef in the F&B industry
* Relevant Chef qualification (Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
* Valid Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (NSW)
* Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
* Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
* Good team player with strong communication skills
Additional requirements:
* Driver’s licence and own transport (essential due to location)
* Valid Australian working rights
