Lockyer Valley Early Education Centre is looking for a kitchen hand to prepare meals for the children in the centre. No child care or chef qualifications are necessary and all training will be provided.
We believe nutrition is vital for children's development and healthy eating is part of the QCCS philosophy. We promise to provide nutritious food that children will love.
Responsibilities
* Prepare meals for Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea.
* Prepare fruits and vegetables for platters and other meal components.
* Heat and deliver meals to children.
* Ensure compliance with the centre Food Safety Plan.
* Support the kitchen team and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Qualifications
* Passionate about children's nutrition and committed to promoting healthy eating.
* Must hold a Paid Blue Card.
* Enthusiastic and eager to learn; no formal qualifications required.
