CVC CardioVascular Clinics provides comprehensive quaternary cardiac care from an experienced team of Cardiologists. The likeminded team at CVC combine their knowledge to provide patients with quality care and optimal cardiac treatment. Our practices are located at St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital in Spring Hill, North Lakes, Hervey Bay, Rockhampton, Ipswich and Greenslopes.
About the role
We are seeking someone at our Hervey Bay location with extensive experience in the medical environment, with an emphasis on the administration aspect of clinical and procedural service delivery for the practice.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Desired criteria
* A minimum of two years' experience working in a busy medical environment.
* A sound understanding of Medicare, health funds and third parties.
* Uncompromising attention to detail.
* Responsible for reception duties including but not limited to dealing with patient phone calls and enquiries, coordinating appointments.
* The ability to prioritise a very busy and diverse workload, as well as contribute positively to the team environment
* Proficiency in all aspects of IT. Experience using Healthtrack Medical Systems is preferred but not essential.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
