Child Protection Caseworker Role
This challenging yet rewarding role involves working sensitively and respectfully with families to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children. As a Child Protection Caseworker, you will be responsible for responding to reports of safety concerns, developing safety plans, and collaborating with other agencies to provide support to vulnerable families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct home visits and engage in complex problem-solving to address safety and well-being concerns.
* Develop and implement safety plans in collaboration with families, other agencies, and community members.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a coordinated response to child protection cases.
* Prepare court documents and attend court proceedings as required.
Requirements:
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Social Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with families and colleagues.
* Valid driver's license (P1 or above).
* Paid Working with Children clearance number.
