Your new role Reporting to the National Microbiology Leader, as the Microbiologist you will primarily Supervise and perform all quality functions relating to Microbiological Testing at all Australian GMS sites What you will get in return A family work environment Career development opportunities Flexibility /Work life balance Hybrid work Supportive senior and executive management Team building activities/social events Duties Contribute to the completion of Change Controls and CAPAs relating to the Microbiology department raised in response to external audits, internal audits, deviations, etc. Contribute to process improvement projects relating to the Microbiology department Maintain a working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Undergo training as directed by the National Microbiology Leader Perform duties delegated by the National Microbiology Leader Supervise the Microbiological Quality Control testing of final products and starting materials Manage the interaction with external laboratories to ensure that external microbiological testing is carried out in a cost effective manner What you will need to succeed Highly organised Able to engage and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders 2-3 years’ experience as a microbiologist with in the health care industry Attention to detail High proficiency in writing procedural and technical documents Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related Science Sterile manufacturing/testing experience TGA/GMP regulatory knowledge
