About this Role
You will work within a Midwifery Group Practice program, providing continuity of care to women throughout their pregnancy, birth and postnatal period. This includes delivering antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal midwifery care.
Key responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of interventions to facilitate women achieving 'towards normal birth' strategies and optimal birthing goals.
Focused on the woman's individual needs, expectations and aspirations, you will work at an advanced nursing level to achieve quality care outcomes for patients in a collaborative work environment.
This role is well supported by a Clinical Midwife Specialist Team Leader and offers opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will be responsible for managing your own workload and time, while working independently to provide 24 hour support to allocated caseloads of women per year.
The Midwifery Group Practice program allows for close collaboration with colleagues and participation in high-quality patient care delivery.
Women and their families benefit from the dedicated care provided by registered midwives like yourself.
In this role, you will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and making a positive impact on lives of women and their families.
