About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and student-centred Associate Lecturer in Nursing to join our Discipline of Nursing in this 12-month fixed-term, part-time opportunity (30 hours per week).
This education-focused role is ideal for a Registered Nurse who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and creating engaging learning experiences for undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.
Key responsibilities:
* Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, practical classes and flexible learning activities with the support of senior staff
* Contribute to unit coordination, including organisation of learning materials and activities
* Undertake marking and assessment in line with academic standards
* Provide timely communication, guidance and pastoral care to students
About you:
The successful candidate will be AHPRA registered and hold, or be working towards, relevant tertiary education qualifications. With excellent communication and organisational skills, you will bring a proactive, collegial approach to teaching and unit support. Relevant teaching or clinical education experience is desired.
