You will be responsible for the effective management of all aspects of our accommodation village, ensuring a high standard of service for our guests. This is a full-time, on-site position with a 14 days on, 7 days off roster. Prior experience in remote site management is preferred, however candidates with strong hospitality management and stakeholder engagement skills will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist in managing all departments, including Accommodation, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Facilities Maintenance.
- Lead and support a high-performing team, ensuring operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
- Work closely with the other managers to oversee staffing, training, and development.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health & safety (OHS) standards, company policies, and client expectations.
- Assist in managing any stock control and ordering.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment and facilities are in optimal condition.
- Conduct staff performance reviews and oversee procedures in line with company policies.
- Implement strategies to improve staff engagement and satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3-4 years of managerial experience in hospitality, accommodation, or facility management.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Experience with stakeholder and client management in a service-oriented environment.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional administrative and computer and software skills.
- Knowledge of compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements within the hospitality industry.
- Food safety supervisors license and RSA would be advantageous but not compulsory.
- Ability to undergo a police check.
- A current Manual Driver’s License.
